The Amazon Spree 3

Most people don't know what Amazon.com actually has - neither sounding like a fashion place nor too flashy and trendy. However, I'd like to bust that thought if you only thought Amazon sells books and Cds.

You can find a bunch of very reasonably priced fashion items from brands like ALDO, Adidas, Nine West, Anne Klein, DKNY, Steve Madden, Diesel, Roxy, Polo Ralph etc - you name it. Not just ladies, there are Mens & Kids too.

They are available in Shoes, Bags, Lingerie, Dresses, Tees, Shorts, Slippers, Accessories, Hats, Umbrellas - whatever!

I recently bought a pair of heels from Madden Girl which was 20+ USD (u sometimes need to search out the cheap prices from other merchants on the same page) not knowing that in Sg, the flats and sandles are SG 80 and above. Quite a steal I must say.

Then I tried some electronics too. Got a Sennheiser Headphones that were advertised this Christmas at SG 129. Seriously, they cost me 29 USD. When they arrived, i compared it to the ones in the local store - they're the same. Please beware of fakes tho.

In the spree were some books and CDs - the latter I wouldn't advise to buy unless they are 'used' or items sold from a 'non-amazon' merchant. Because Amazon shipped them in a box to me, without individually bubblewrapping it, causing some cracks on the cover. The 2nd hand CDs I bought however, came in indiv bubble packs and were perfect. They cost me 88cents.

You can get so much from Amazon - and people don't really know.

For starters, go with those that offer 'Free Super Saver Shipping' cos those prices include shipping, saving you the mental sums trouble.

For the rest of you seasoned spreers, my only advice is to start surfing early. Cos it will take you through the night into the next day.

Kid you not, its like the Mustafa of the USA over there.

oh and btw, not that i get paid for this, but ever since i started the first spree, its the first time i actually feel that i have FOUND A GOOD DEAL *yipee* and it would be so utterly wrong of me to keep it to myself! haha :)
