its been quite some time since I've had such a neatly packed box and tightly squashed pairs inside the single shoeboxes. i must say, the betula and delmar synthetic sandals have been growing popularity these days.maybe I shall talk a little bit more about them again.
these are the "Betula Energy" slippers, they have a thinner strap that holds the foot and is made entirely of 1 material called EVA. this material is super-lightweight (think a piece of foam) and is not only waterproof but also molds to your foot after long wearing.
then there are the "Papillio Del Mar" Slippers which come in slightly more pastel colours as well as the basic tones. the strap of this sandal is less like typical flip-flopts, which feature the ends gradually becoming wider as it joins the sole. it is abit more pointy and shapes towards the big toe, as opposed to betula's evenly rounded toe shape. My feel is that this style in the larger sizes look good on guys. Also, the smalles size begins with 35/36 for most and largest sizes go up to 46.

there is also the "Betula Fitness" Sandal which is quite popular among guys. With 2 buckles resembling the Arizona design from Birkenstocks cork footbed, this design retains all the qualities as mentioned for the previous 2 designs and is very much more secure in terms of fit for the foot support.
